KAHRI SPRING 2013 INSPIRATION
In case you were wondering what the inspiration was behind the Kahri Spring 2013 Collection, which is now available online at www.kahri.com and in select stores, it's a mix of 1920's flapper girl, art deco, and the fun, unique vibe and sound of one of my all time favorite singers, Sia Furler. I've been obsessed with her since I first heard "Breathe Me" which launched her career in the U.S. I saw her in concert, the same one that she recorded her "Lady Croissant" album, which is simply amazing. Her latest albums are more upbeat, fun, dance records, that put things in perspective, like "Some People Have Real Problems". She's also an amazing song writer, with tons of hits lately, like Rihanna's "Diamonds". So the collection is a mix of the signature Kahri rocker chic look but this season is more playful and fun with a dash of 1920's flapper chic. Can't wait till the weather warms up and I can start wearing the new collection!
